Be careful what you post on your social networking page.

An article in My Sanantonio warns about the dangers of being indiscreet.

 

A survey by online job site CareerBuilders found that 12 percent of hiring managers had viewed social networking sites and "63 percent of the probes resulted in the candidate not getting the job."

 

Even though the number of hiring managers viewing social networking sites in India may be far less those abroad, it is wiser to err on the side of caution.

 

To rehash the old saying, better to be discreet online, than to be sorry.
