Having too many goals could be taxing

A study suggests given too many options making a choice leaves a person mentally drained.

Kathleen D. Vohs, PhD, the study's lead author and a member of the University of Minnesota's marketing department, says experiments provide evidence that making choices, as opposed to just thinking about options, is what is especially taxing.

Similarly, having too many goals is taxing. Instead of using your time to reach your goals, you will be spending time choosing which goal to pursue; this pursuit of too many goals will only vex and de-motivate you.

As George Moore said, “The difficulty in life is the choice”, so why spend your life in pursuit of too many goals. Choose one wisely, lessen your distractions; give your undivided attention and energy to a single goal.
