Information overload suffocating managers

There are two issues here.

The first one is the obvious one. Searching for relevant information, isolating it from the information received,is time consuming and slows down decision making.

The second issue is that the managers are unable to decide and move forward as they want more and more information.Information seduces them. They hunger for more. This leads to a paralysis in decision making.
