The one question we all dread hearing in an interview is ‘what are your salary expectations?’
I assure you that all of us are uncomfortable hearing that question.
The main reason is that we fear asking for too much or asking for too little.
The best way to handle this is to prepare yourself for this question.
Do sufficient research on what the salary trends are in the industry for a person with your experience.
Once you know how much exactly the salaries are, you can answer this question, by quoting a salary range.
For example, you can say that you are expecting your salary to be between say Rs. 11,000/- to Rs.12, 500/-
This will give you enough room to negotiate and also will give yourself sufficient chance to get better salary.
